MJ Residential Services supports children and young people to develop the skills and knowledge to restore the balance in their life, supporting them to develop and achieve a pathway to independence by giving them space to grow.

MJ Residential Services was established in 2020 and currently has one service in the South West of England. 

 

We do not believe that any one model holds the answer to helping children and young people reach their potential. We have learnt through experience that a humanistic approach and placing the child at the centre of all we do, helps to empower our young people to be in control of their lives. 

​

Much of our practice lies within task focused approaches to behavioural management. We set small achievable targets, identified by the young person, leading towards a longer term goal. We focus on the core values of being non-judgmental, empathetic, and providing care by accepting each child as a unique individual.

 

We recognise that in order to offer an outstanding service, the needs of the individual must lie at the heart of everything we do.

MJ Residential Services is registered with Ofsted to provide a specialist residential service to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. We are also able to provide services to support young children and young people with mental health needs. We are able to help support children and young people between 8 and 18 years of age.
